16th International Conference on Real-Time and Network Systems

Rennes, France, October 16-17, 2008

The purpose of the conference is to share ideas, experiences and informations among academic researchers, developers and service providers in the field of real-time systems and networks. RNTS'08 is the 16th edition of the conference formerly known as RTS (Real-Time Systems, Paris). The 12 first editions of RTS were french-speaking events held in Paris in conjunction with the RTS Embedded System exhibition. Since its 13th edition, the conference language of RTNS is english.

  • The proceedings of the RTNS 2008 conference are available here.
  • Eduardo Tovar from Polytechnic Institute of Porto, Portugal, gave an invited talk on wireless sensor networks and cyber-physical systems. It can be accessed here.
  • Antonoi Mancina from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna received the Best Student Paper Award. This is a cash price of 500 &euro for the best student paper offered by the Fondation Michel Metivier (www.fondation-metivier.org).
  • A selection of the best papers will be invited for publication in the Real-Time Systems Journal.
  • The registration to RTNS 2008 is now closed.
  • The submission for the final version of accepted papers is now closed.
